Caorle’s Lagoons : this is a natural oasis of rare beauty, that without a doubt must be visited. We recommend a trip a trip on the “bragosso” which is a characteristic venetian wooden boat. Departures are daily and not far from our hotel.

Vallevecchia (www.vallevecchia.it) : A wild nature resort which is even recognised by the European Community as a natural protected area. It is possible to rent bicycles and go on a trip to this area rich in fauna and flora. It is situated at only 30km by land or it can also be reached by sea

.

VENICE: It is only 60Km from Caorle and can be reached by land or sea. From the information office you can buy a return ticket . This price includes the trip from Caorle to Punta Sabbioni by bus, and from Punta Sabbioni to Venice by ferry. For those who prefer to drive, we recommend to to Mestre and leave your car at car park near the train starion then catch the train from Mestre to Venezia Santa Lucia. Another option is to catch the “Motonave Caorle” ( www.motonavecaorle.com ) that departs from the fishing port in Caorle and will take you directly close to Saint Mar’s Square.

PADOVA: The city of San Antonio. Famous for its university, its amazing frescos by Giotto and for having the largest square in Europe, Prato della Valle. At 100 km from Caorle, it can easily be reached by motorway A4 towards Milan.

VERONA: The romantic city of Romeo & Juliet, a must for all those who are in love. Amongst its many attractions you are able to visit the famous arena where every year well known opera shows take place. It is 180km far from Caorle and it can be reached by following the A4 Motorway towards Milan.

VICENZA: The city of the Palladio and the famous Venetian Villas. It has a small historic centre but full but full of interesting monuments in particular the Olympic Theatre and the beautiful “Santuario della Madonna di Monte Berico”. It is around 130km from Caorle and it can be reached by following the A4 Motorway towards Milan.

CONCORDIA SAGITTARIA: This is an old roman town that used to be known once as “Julia Concordia”. This is where the old roman army arrows used to be made. You can visit the old “Basilica “ and many other roman remains. At only 20km away from Caorle it is reachable following the local road 59, towards San Stino di Livenza and then continuing towards Portogruaro, which is a mediaeval city that is worth a visit.
